January Workshop 2020 Application Confirmation

You did it! We have received your application and appreciate your effort in filling it out.

Please pay your deposit. Once the deposit is made and both of your references are in, Nancy will review your application and we will get in touch with you within a few weeks.

If you did not submit your references yet, please ask those who are providing your references, to write us with the below information about you. Nancy uses the references as a way to know you and your work.

At least one of your references should be fluent in Contact Improvisation. References should know you and your experience level in Contact Improvisation, dance, and other improvisational dance work. Please ask your references to write about who they are and about you with the below information. (Also, please note that you cannot use Nancy or Mike as a reference no matter how well they know you!)

• Your CI, dance, improvisation, solo, and performance experience: what interests you, level of experience, specific challenges and weaknesses
• Your participation in groups (e.g. self-responsibility, sensitivity to others, cooperation in the group, working together on a project for an extended time, cooking/cleaning/living as a group, etc.)
• Any other related information about you.
• Please make sure information is specific and is about the last 1-2 years particularly.
